About me...
I always thought you had to be 'born' a medium; that being a medium was a 'gift' from birth. I'm so pleased I was proven wrong. Anyone who is willing to put in the work to develop can become a medium. Lots of folks I know have become mediums following the loss of their loved ones, when the bereaved person started to receive messages from 'heaven', 'across the veil', 'the other side' - however it's referred to, from their loved ones, to let them know they'd arrived and that they are at peace. Physical death is certainly not the end of life. It may be the end of life on Earth, however, it is most definitely the continuation of life of the soul.
As a child I always felt different, I could sense the energies from other people and would often innocently absorb the physical and emotional pain emanating from others. I was and still am a 'sensitive'. It's interesting that people often see that side of someone's character and label it as a negative trait, whereas, once those feelings and abilities are recognised and accepted they become gifts in their own right. I have no doubt that if I wasn't a sensitive, then I wouldn't be on this journey of spiritual discovery.
I'd visited many different spiritual churches over the years, entering their doors with an innate curiosity coated with a healthy dose of scepticism. If there was an afterlife, it had to be proven to me, I had to feel it and know it before I believed it.
